I am new to Tilda - I discovered the books recently on Amazon. I have found it a bit hard not to have amounts given for the fabric required for each project and there are lots of errors on measurements, mis-prints etc in the English version. Hard if you are new to sewing.
I will try and attach a photo of two of my projects - my first attempt the picture was too big for the blog! I hope to make several items and decorate one room as my escape from the rest of the house to peaceful Tilda calm.
Welcome. I’m from Spain and i bought my Tilda books in Amazon, too. I’ve been sewing hearts, easter cards and this week I’ve been sewing a bag, but I think that the explanation it’s not clear so I have made some changes to be able to do it.
I’m looking forward to see yout creations.
Thanks for your comments - I also have found problems with mistakes and rather confusing instructions in the book Sew Pretty Homestyle. The book - Crafting Springtime Gifts has much better instructions I think.
I haven’t worked out how to show pictures on the site yet - but will have another go soon. Have you posted any pictures of your projects yet? I would love to see them.
